A Tradition of Service Before Self
Dr. Matt Rahn has been working hard for the City of Temecula for nearly twenty years. As a two-time Mayor and two-term City Council Member, Matt has led some of the most important changes this City has seen:
- Hired more police officers and opened a new fire station
- Expanded homeless outreach and intervention programs
- Led the development of the new MSJC/CSUSM College Campus
- Created the “Seniors Master Plan” with new senior housing shuttles
- Updated parks and sports fields
- Fixed over 50 miles of roads and secured over $120 million in transportation funding to reduce traffic congestion
- Helped to lower property taxes for homeowners
- Implemented a plan to pay off all City debt and pay off unfunded pension liabilities
- Improved government accountability and transparency
